20.48kWh 224V Modular High Voltage Battery System with Four Rack Modules

This 20.48kWh high voltage battery system combines four rack-mounted LiFePO4 modules in a series-connected battery architecture. The complete system provides a nominal DC platform of 224V while maintaining a modular format that can be arranged inside a compatible battery rack or protected technical room.

The four-module configuration creates a compact entry point for high-voltage energy storage projects that need more efficient DC integration than a conventional low-voltage battery bank. A compatible high-voltage inverter or power conversion system, external DC protection and approved connection design are required separately.

A Compact High-Voltage System Blueprint

The system should be planned as one coordinated battery stack rather than four independent low-voltage batteries. The modules are connected in series to create the required system voltage, so module order, cable polarity and connection sequence are critical.

Battery Module Layer

Four individual rack modules provide a defined mechanical structure for transportation, positioning and module-level inspection.

High-Voltage DC Layer

Series connection increases the complete battery voltage while the amp-hour capacity remains based on the individual module rating.

System Integration Layer

The battery stack must be coordinated with a compatible inverter or PCS, external isolation equipment and the project control strategy.

Where a 20.48kWh High Voltage Battery Fits

This capacity may be considered for solar energy shifting, selected-load backup and smaller high-voltage storage projects where approximately 20kWh of nominal battery energy is required.

The battery capacity should be selected from the expected daily energy use and required reserve period. The inverter or PCS power rating must be calculated separately from the stored-energy capacity.

The complete nominal energy should not be treated as guaranteed AC energy. Conversion efficiency, discharge settings, operating temperature, cable losses and system reserve limits affect the energy available to connected loads.

Rack Space and Module Handling

Each battery module measures 440 × 480 × 150mm and weighs 48kg net. The rack or cabinet must accommodate four modules together with series interconnection cables, DC isolation equipment and inspection clearance.

The combined module weight is approximately 192kg before the supporting rack, cable set and protection equipment are included. The floor and cabinet structure should be evaluated for the complete installed load.

The shipping plan should account for four individual cartons. Each packaged module measures 520 × 560 × 230mm and weighs 54kg gross.

The IP20 modules require a dry indoor technical location protected from rain, condensation, direct sunlight, excessive dust and nearby heat sources.

20.48kWh High Voltage System FAQ

Are the four modules connected in parallel?

No. They form a series-connected high-voltage system. The approved connection sequence must be followed.

Does the system include an inverter or PCS?

No. A compatible high-voltage inverter or PCS and external DC protection must be selected separately.

Can one module operate separately from the complete stack?

The product is specified as a coordinated four-module high-voltage system. Independent operation should not be assumed.

Can the system be installed outdoors?

No outdoor suitability claim should be made. The IP20 modules require a dry indoor installation area.

What information is needed for project sizing?

Provide the daily energy demand, required backup period, inverter power, charging source and available rack space.
