30.72kWh 336V High Voltage Battery System with Six Modular Rack Units

This 30.72kWh high voltage battery system uses six rack-mounted LiFePO4 modules to create a nominal 336V battery platform. It is positioned between compact 20kWh systems and larger 40kWh or 50kWh battery banks, making it suitable for projects that need a medium-capacity high-voltage storage configuration.

Start with the Daily Energy Balance

The capacity should be evaluated from the amount of energy expected to move through the battery during a normal operating cycle. This may include solar energy stored for later use, backup reserve or selected load support.

A 30.72kWh nominal rating does not mean that every kilowatt-hour will be delivered to AC loads. The design should account for PCS efficiency, operating reserve, cable losses, battery limits and environmental conditions.

Energy Used per Cycle

Estimate how much energy the connected loads require during the planned discharge period.

Available Recharge Energy

Confirm whether the solar array, utility charger or generator can restore the used energy within the required time.

Required Backup Reserve

Separate normal energy shifting from the capacity that must remain available for backup operation.

Six Modules as One Coordinated Battery Bank

The six modules operate as one series-connected high-voltage system. They should not be treated as independent batteries connected to different loads or inverters.

Module voltage, polarity, connection order and cable fastening should be checked during assembly. The complete output should only be connected after the expected system voltage has been confirmed.

A compatible high-voltage inverter or PCS must support the complete battery operating range and the project current requirements.

Equipment-Room and Rack Planning

Each module measures 440 × 480 × 150mm. The cabinet must provide vertical space for six modules, interconnection cables, system output connections and suitable service access.

The combined module net weight is approximately 288kg. The supporting rack and floor must also carry the weight of cables, protection devices and the cabinet itself.

For shipping preparation, each module is packed separately at 520 × 560 × 230mm and 54kg gross. The complete six-module shipment weighs approximately 324kg before pallets or external packing are included.

The battery system is IP20 and should be installed in a dry indoor energy room with controlled access and no condensation.
